The attribution line is the only thing we ask for in return. Please keep it visible and keep the link crawlable — that is what pays for the widget being free.

Questions publishers ask
Is it really free?
Yes — no cost, no account, no usage cap. Keeping the attribution line visible is the only condition.
Does it track my visitors?
No. No cookies, no analytics, no network requests once the script has loaded. Every calculation happens in the visitor's browser, and we never see the numbers they type.
Will it slow my page down?
About 7 KB gzipped with zero dependencies, loaded asynchronously. It cannot block rendering, and if the script fails to load your page is unaffected.
Will it clash with my site's CSS?
All styles are scoped to the widget's own ID, so nothing leaks out into your page and your theme will not restyle the widget.
Can I use it on a commercial or client site?
Yes, including bank, credit union, and advisory sites, and sites you build for clients. Keep the attribution and you are covered.

The widget is an educational tool, not financial advice. APY figures are whatever you or your visitor type in — it does not fetch live rates, so pair it with current rates from your own institution or a source like the FDIC. Interest is compounded annually and results are rounded, so treat the output as an estimate rather than a quote.
